4D Youth / ITC Parent Group
For parents of youth in portland/tri-county who struggle with substance use
Helping a child who struggles with substance use can be a very lonely journey, made worse by lack of understanding, fear, and the impact of stigma and shame. 4D Youth Center’s parent support group provides a safe space to connect with others who understand your feelings and what you are experiencing. We bring evidence-based ideas together with kindness so you can support your child in a way that is genuinely helpful and aligned with your values. We also help bring self-compassion and care to yourself which are necessary to sustain you through these difficult times. Meetings are held on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, alternating in-person and virtual. For information on how to attend, please email me via the contact page.
4D Youth Center’s mission is to empower adolescents aged 14-17 with substance use disorder to find freedom from drugs and alcohol. It offers peer-based recovery services, abstinent-based social support, family support and collaborative services. Located in SE Portland, it serves youth and families in the Portland metro/tri-county area. For more information, please visit their website.
